The overall service “collection and recovery of waste paper” is awarded in 2 lots (lot 1: collection and transport of waste paper and lot 2: takeover and recycling of waste paper). The term of the contract covers the period from 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2023 (optionally until 12/31/2024, see section II.2.7)).
Lot 1: collection and transport of waste paper- Provision of the required waste paper containers (including initial distribution) as part of a container rental,
- Implementation of the container change service and container inventory maintenance,
- Collection of waste paper with the "blue bin" (120 l, 240 l and 1 100 l containers) every four weeks,
- Transport of the collected waste paper to a suitable and approved delivery point (handling facility) of the contractor (including weighing and handling) as well as handover of the waste paper to the contractor of lot 2),
- Optional: keeping the volume flow records according to the Packaging Act.
Lot 2: takeover and recovery of waste paper- Takeover of the waste paper at the transhipment facility named by the client (of the contractor for lot 1) in the urban area or in regional proximity to the city of Löhne,
- implementation of transport and recovery logistics,
- Recycling / marketing of the received waste paper (including disposal of any contaminants).
Note: Whether the proportion of packaging waste from PPK can also be recycled depends on the currently valid joint use agreement with the dual systems.
