There is a need for more knowledge on the extent of so-called 'summoning contracts' in general in Norwegian working life. Summoning contracts are work conditions that are characterised by work contracts where employees are summoned when needed. The Ministry of Labour would like to map the extent and practice of such forms of employment, as well as the content of such work contracts.
