The Werra-Meissner GmbH hospital intends to redesign and reassign laboratory care. In addition to the realization of a “24/7 face-to-face laboratory” at the Eschwege site, this also includes ensuring needs-based laboratory care at the Witzenhausen site. The provision of special studies (specialist laboratory/special studies) or time-uncritical findings with smaller series length as well as microbiological findings must be produced in the area of the provider. The provider also expects the provision and organization of POCT/BGA and blood glucose measurements including IT technical networking.

Klinikum Werra-Meissner GmbH provides employees at its own expense for the 24/7 presence laboratory as well as ensuring laboratory medical care at the Witzenhausen site during the contract period as part of personnel placement. The premises required for the realization of the presence laboratory at the Eschwege site are provided free of charge by Klinikum Werra-Meissner GmbH over the duration of the contract.

The Werra-Meissner GmbH clinic aims to align laboratory medical care even more closely with the medical severity of the patient collective in terms of scope and examination frequency. The provider is expected to support the observance of current subject-relevant guidelines as well as to present and implement an ongoing and results-oriented controlling approach in cooperation with medical controlling at Klinikum Werra-Meissner GmbH. In particular, Klinikum Werra-Meissner GmbH is aiming for further improvement of quality, reduction of operating costs and continuous verification of requirements behavior in close cooperation with the provider. A special focus remains on delivering the results of analytics in a timely manner, as it has a decisive influence on the internal processes of the respective clinic sites (e.g. dismissal decisions, exclusion diagnostics).

As part of the changeover and commissioning, the supply order (availability of laboratory analysis) of the clinic sites must be ensured by the provider at all times. The planned start of regular operation is planned for 1.3.2022 at the latest. The changeover phase and commissioning is to be sought soon after the final award has been awarded in agreement between the winning provider and the Werra-Meissner GmbH hospital.
