The driver of the current TU tender is the introduction of accelerated asylum procedures and the resulting need for new or restructured federal asylum centers.

Subject of this tender is the turnkey and operational construction of an accommodation building for 350 asylum seekers including the surrounding work of the entire project perimeter with previous demolition of the existing accommodation building at the Freiburgerstraße 50 in Basel, according to the specifications defined in the TU tender documents. This building forms the second construction phase (TP2) of the project "Bundesasylzentrum Basel". The first stage (TP1), the new construction of the office building in the front property area, goes into operation on 1.1.2019.

The aim of this tender is to find a total contractor who plans and executes the construction of the new Federal Asylum Center, taking into account the needs of the client and the SEM.
