The works comprise ground drilling on the stretch Eidsvoll-Hamar. The drilling is partly being carried out for the joint project new E6/Dovre railway as well as for the main planning works for a new railway. The joint project is a cooperation between Statens vegvesen and Jernbaneverket.

The first part of the works shall be carried out winter/spring 2012 and shall consist of approx. 250 soundings, 50 CPTU-drilling works, 20 trial series with 54 mm steel cylinders, setting down 5 electrical piezometres with automatic reading as well as 5 remote control drilling works. Some of the drilling shall be carried out in the beach zone at low water level in Vorma and Mjøsa. The extent requires large access to resources in this period.

The contract shall run until the end of 2014 in order to see to the need for further ground surveys. This need has not yet been fixed.
