Following the acquisition of GEMAPI competence on 1.1.2018 by Nîmes Métropole on its territory, the management of flood prevention works on the fraction of the agglomeration's territory includes in the Vistre watershed as well as the studies associated with competence flood prevention are now carried out by the services of Nîmes Métropole.

The hydraulic developments of the Cadeaux of Alès, Camplanier and the Combe des Oiseaux are authorized by a prefectoral decree issued under the “Water Law” (decree nº 2010-85-7 of 26.3.2010). The declaration of these gifts as hydraulic arrangements will be made in the form of bringing to knowledge this initial order under section 3.2.6.0 of the Water Law nomenclature.

In accordance with article R. 562-19 of the environment code, the fittings of these gifts will be classified as hydraulic fittings by a supplementary decree and a simplified procedure.

This study concerns the gifts of Alès, Camplanier and the Combe des Oiseaux. The structures and facilities are located on the territory of the municipality of Nîmes, and Nîmes Métropole is the manager thereof under its Gemapi competence (works made available by the municipality).
