On the Werratal barracks property in Bad Salzungen, two identical four-storey accommodation buildings are to be rebuilt on former construction sites.

For this purpose, the services for specialist planning structural engineering buildings according to Part 4, Section 1, § 51 HOAI are advertised in this procedure.

Procurement includes services for specialist planning structural engineering with the planning services basic determination, preliminary, design and approval planning (services according to part 4 § 51 HOAI, service phases 2-4) with the development of the decision document construction (ES-Bau) part V and the design base construction (EW-Bau).

Subsequently, further step-by-step commissioning of the additional service levels (optional performance profile: planning services in accordance with service phases 5 and 6 HOAI, the special services in LP 7 and 8) is envisaged.

Building design:

The two immediately adjacent identical new buildings of the accommodation buildings are also intended to reflect the reorientation of the Bundeswehr. There are 138 accommodations per accommodation building (single rooms) with their own wet room for soldiers who are required to stay, including corresponding function and technical rooms, with a total of approx. 2,600 m² of usable space.

The planning and execution of the accommodation buildings may be modular.

The two accommodation buildings are to be rebuilt on demolished buildings between existing buildings (see Annex A in the award documents).

A budget of EUR 12,351,000 gross (cost groups (kgR) 200 to 700) was specified for each of the two accommodation buildings. This budget should be adhered to. The planning for both buildings is estimated by the client as average in line with the fee zone III HOAI.
