The Scope of Work for the EPCI Contract comprises engineering, procurement, construction and installation for offshore installation of a 36 inches Gas Transport Pipeline across the Adriatic Sea between the coastline area in Albania to the coastline area in southern Italy including associated landfall civil works at both landfalls, survey activities, seabed intervention activities and pre commissioning activities of the installed pipeline. The pipeline length will be approximately 105 km and the water depth at the deepest approximately 820 meter.

The installed offshore pipeline will be part of a natural gas transport system coming from Azerbaijan to Italy as part of the Shah Deniz Phase 2 field development in the Caspian Sea.
