The planned renovation of the A37 runs from the Messeschnellweg (B3), from the Hannover-Misburg junction (km 17,800, para. 30, stat. 0,0) in a northeasterly direction and goes west of Burgdorf behind the Beinhorn junction (km 27,419, section 50, Stat. 4,353) into Bundesstraße 3. The A37 crosses the BAB 2 in the route km 19.862 (AK Buchholz) and in the further course in km 23.100 the BAB 7 (AK Kirchhorst).
The A37 was newly built in the early 1980s with a standard RQ 26 cross section (4-lane, lane widths 3.50 m, hard shoulder 2.50 m, median width 3.00 m). In the median strip and on the outer edge of the carriageway, the drainage facilities run in concrete construction, which mainly drain into open receiving water. In the section of the route there are approx. 15 traffic sign bridges and 18 traffic control systems (VBA systems) as well as an overpass and 9 underpass structures.
In addition to the renewal of the road superstructure, the basic renovation includes the renewal of the protective and control equipment as well as the signage, the refurbishment or replacement of VBA systems, drainage and building repairs.

Note:
The local construction supervision (ÖBÜ) is awarded in a further VgV procedure. It is pointed out that the AG intends to award a separate order and therefore Lph 3, 5, 6 and 8 and the ÖBÜ are not awarded to a contractor.
