In order to implement a central school server solution in the Odenwald district, a working group consisting of teaching staff from different types of schools, school IT staff, school administration staff and the media advisory board was founded.

The working group, supported by the Media Advisory Board, recommends introducing the "Linuxmuster.net" solution as a leading system in the future.

The aim of such a server solution is to standardize and optimize the pedagogical platform for the use of the students and to improve the management and support of end devices by the school IT staff.

For the cross-school multi-tenant installation of the school server solution "linuxmuster.net v.7.1" we need the service provider who goes with us into the planning and implementation of such a solution, supplies the necessary hardware and installs the software solution.

This school server solution is already being used successfully by 5 schools in the Odenwald district.

The solution will be rolled out and implemented on a total of 35 schools at 36 school locations.
