2.1 Initial situation and tendered service
The RadNETZ Baden-Württemberg (hereinafter referred to as "RadNETZ") was adopted by decision of the State Cabinet and the Council of Ministers in 2016 together with the RadSTRATEGY. As a state-wide network of cycle paths, it is planned to expand the RadNETZ nationwide to the so-called "target standard" in accordance with the quality standards for cycling infrastructure of the state of Baden-Württemberg by 2030. The implementation of the RadNETZ has not yet taken place at the desired speed, which is why the implementation acceleration is to be achieved in a number of measures.
