AMNCH is a tertiary referral centre for a number of specialist clinical areas where diagnosis and treatment with capsule endoscope technology is required. The Endoscopy Day-care unit currently carry out approximately 10,000 procedures annually, in a range of disciplines. There are between 400 and 500 capsule endoscopy examinations carried out annually. AMNCH use capsule endoscopy for examination of both the small bowel and the colon. The main objective of this tender is to provide capsules, hardware and software for carrying out these studies. The Objective of this project is to appoint a Tenderer who has a clear proven ability in the field of endoscopy technology. The successful Tenderer must meet our requirement as laid out in the specification. The proposal must offer value for money. This tender will be evaluated in two Lots. Lot 1 AMNCH require capsules for performing small bowel examinations. In Lot 2 the hospital requires capsules for performing examinations of the colon.
