Carry out Part Refurbishment/Part Management Survey to Individual Property (Internal and External) to include Taking Up to 4 Samples as Part of the Survey. To be completed within 10 Working Days

Carry out part refurbishment/Part management survey to individual property (internal and external) to include taking up to 4 samples as part of the survey. To be completed within 10 working days.

These are required for properties which are part of a programme of refurbishment works carried out e.g. kitchens/bathrooms/heating systems. The refurbishment survey will be carried out in the area(s) where the works are to be carried out. Management surveys are required for remaining parts of the property not affected by the works.


Carry our Full Demolition/Refurbishment Survey to Individual Empty Properties (Internal and External) Up to 10 Samples to be completed within 3 Working Days

Carry our full demolition/refurbishment survey to individual empty properties (internal and external) up to 10 samples to be completed within 3 working days.

This is for properties which become empty (void). SBHA will provide notice where it knows a property is about to become empty and confirm when the keys are available.


Carry out Full Demolition/Refurbishment Survey to Communal Areas of Blocks of Flats up to 10 Samples (Internal and External) to be completed within 10 Working Days

Carry out full demolition/refurbishment survey to communal areas of blocks of flats up to 10 samples (internal and external) to be completed within 10 working days.

Suppliers are required to set out a robust programme of works which demonstrates the resources available to complete the surveys instructed ensuring 19/20 works are completed by the end of March 2020. Surveys relating to upcoming each programme of works should be prioritised and returned a minimum of 10 working days before the programmed start date of refurbishment works. The programme of works should therefore set out flexibility to meet contract start dates given an agreed minimum timescale.

Manage the Process of Any Removals with the Appointed Contractor

Manage the process of any removals with the appointed contractor from identifying and recommending a removal to completing post works air monitoring where required and ensuring documentation for any removals is complete and correct and provided to SBHA within 10 working days of removal with an updated survey.
