Hertfordshire County Council is seeking organizations to manage vegetation on public rights of way to ensure safe access for pedestrians, cyclists, and horse riders, with participation open through an e-tendering system and a submission deadline of January 3, 2025.
HCC - 12/24 - The Provision of Hertfordshire Public Rights of Way Vegetation Management 2025-2029. Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for the Provision of Hertfordshire Public Rights of Way Vegetation Management 2025-2029.Further information in regards to this opportunity can be found in II.2.4 and VI.3 below. This includes footpaths, bridleways and byways. The areas of the county included in this contract will be divided into Lots following the Borough and District Council boundaries.Tenderers’ operators must hold current certificates for the tools and machinery they are intending to use e.g. compact tractors, ride-on mowers, push mowers, brush cutters/strimmers and chainsaws (this is an indicative list only).Please refer to the tender documents for full details.This procurement is an open process.
