Two ultra-high-speed cameras are needed for imaging structural deformation during events like blasts and impacts, with images processed using Digital Image Correlation software.
Stereo Ultra High-Speed cameras for Digital Image Correlation. Imaging of structural deformation from events like blast, ballistic impact or high-frequency transducers, requires incredibly high framing rates. This will require two ultra-high-speed cameras, which will be housed outside a protective blast chamber and in close proximity to safe structural experiments. These images will be processed through Digital Image Correlation (DIC) software.
