Description:
The London Borough of Merton seeks to deliver an Integrated Health Improvement Service aimed at reducing cardiovascular risks through behavioral changes related to smoking cessation, physical activity, healthy weight maintenance, and alcohol reduction, while enhancing mental wellbeing.
Integrated Healthy Lifestyle Service ‘One You Merton’. The London Borough of Merton (“the Council”) is inviting tenders to deliver an Integrated Health Improvement Service for people who live, work, study or are registered with a GP in the borough. It will be the key resident-facing health improvement service. The service focuses on cardiovascular risk reduction through supporting behavioural changes for four key public health risk factors, including stopping smoking as a priority, increasing physical activity, maintaining healthy weight, reducing alcohol intake, underpinned by an improved mental wellbeing. Creating a network of trained frontline staff and volunteers across a range of partnerships will be an integral part of the service.
