Pembrokeshire County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board will soon establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for Supported Living Services aimed at supporting citizens with assessed needs, including those requiring assistance to prevent homelessness.
Provision of Supported Living Services. Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) and on behalf of the Hywel Dda University Health Board will shortly be publishing a tender for a Dynamic Purchasing System for Supported Living Services comprising of both Community and Household Care and Support. The approximate Hywel Dda University Health Board contract value and approximate Housing Related Support Grant contract value has been included within this notice. The value provided is per annum.
The purpose of this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is to provide Supported Living Services for citizens of Pembrokeshire with an assessed need. This may include packages where service users are eligible for support through the Housing Support Grant to ‘prevent people from becoming homeless, stabilise their housing situation, or help potentially homeless people to find and keep accommodation.' This arrangement will impose the following special conditions: - Minimum of Real Living Wage payment for all Support Workers - Pay those delivering support using their own vehicle a minimum of and 45 pence per mile. - Shift based pay – flat rate of pay for travel, training and contact time This arrangement also includes a rate provider payment model as well as mini competition in exceptional circumstances.
