HCC 09/24 - Contract for the Provision of Residential Placements for one (1) child/ young person aged 7-18 with highly challenging behaviour and complex needs at No.1 Icknield. Hertfordshire County Council is currently out to procurement for The Provision of Residential Placements for one (1) child/ young person aged 7-18 with highly challenging behaviour and complex needs at No.1 Icknield.Further information regarding this opportunity can be found in II.2.4 and VI.3 below.Organisations wishing to take part in this project are invited to ‘express interest’ which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-tendering system. The estimated contract values stated in II.1.5 and II.2.6 is the maximum value under this contract which includes the optional extension period of up to three years and the potential opportunity of additional beds.The Contract Period for this Contract is an initial period of two (2) years with the option to extend for a further period or periods of up to a total of a further three (3) years. Therefore, the maximum duration of this Contract could be five (5) years.Please note that the contract requirements will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands.The use of Lots has been considered for this procurement, but have not been used, as the Council requires an integrated and cohesive provision across the Service. Tenderers should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided, any Contract formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed. Tenderers should seek independent legal advice on the implications of this prior to submitting their Tender, where appropriate.The Council is offering the opportunity to visit the site on Tuesday 15th October 2024 at 2pm.
