Short Break Services. Birmingham City Council (BCC) is leading a joint procurement with Birmingham Children’s Trust (BCT) to establish contracts for the provision of Short Break Services. Aims to support community-based providers, address service gaps, facilitate collaboration, and establish a centralised resource for families. Additional information: The contracting authority for this Lot will be Birmingham City Council Lot 3 - Specialist Short Breaks - Intensive Family Support The contracting authority for this sub lot will be Birmingham Children's Trust.Intensive Family Support: direct work with disabled children, young people, siblings and parents in the home and community at different times including early mornings, after school and weekends over a nominal 6-month period. Lot 3 - Specialist Short Breaks - Specialist Fostering The contracting authority for this sub lot will be Birmingham Children's Trust.Specialist Fostering: the provision of a city-wide Specialist Fostering Placement Service (day and night-time care) to provide short breaks for families of children and young people (CYP) with complex needs. The service will be delivered overnight, at weekends, during school holidays, and weekdays after school as required (times will be flexible to meet needs of individual families).
