1. The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from the area of the Municipality of Nowy Targ from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024. The subject matter of the contract is described in detail in Chapter II of the Terms of Reference

1. The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from the area of the Municipality of Nowy Targ from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

1.1. Collection from inhabited and unoccupied properties:

1) selectively:

i.e. divided into six below specified factions resulting from the Regulations of maintenance of cleanliness and order in the territory of the Municipality of Nowy Targ City:

(a) “PAPER” — containing selectively collected waste from paper, including cardboard, paper packaging waste and packaging waste made of cardboard; with the fact that on paper the authorised trader shall transfer the bags intended to the owners,

(b) “METALS AND PLASTICS” — containing selectively collected metal waste, including packaging waste from metals, plastic waste, including plastic packaging waste and multi-material packaging waste,

(c) 'GLASS' — containing selectively collected glass waste, including packaging waste made of glass; with the fact that the authorised trader shall transfer the bags intended to the owners,

(d) 'BIO' — containing biodegradable waste, with particular emphasis on biowaste (waste classified under code 20 01 08 — biodegradable kitchen waste); with the fact that on the wastes the authorised trader will transfer bags intended to owners,

(e) “MIXED AND ASHES” — containing other non-selectable mixed waste (e.g. disposable diapers and other personal hygiene products, used rubber, leather, wood, used vacuum cleaner bags, worn clothing and textiles, etc.) and ash,

f) LARGE-SIZE WASTE - furniture and other large-sized waste excluding tyres, used electrical and electronic equipment and waste of group 17 (rubble, construction waste type windows, doors, windows, bathroom equipment elements),

(g) in the event of failure by the owner of the property to segregate waste and breach the applicable rules of maintenance of cleanliness and order or random events, there may be cases of receipt and delivery to the installation of mixed waste,

h) the contractor is obliged to collect from the owners of real estate where residents do not live containers/bags intended for collecting municipal waste in accordance with the capacity and frequency declared by them,

i) bulky waste will be delivered and collected by the contractor in bulk, using vehicles adapted for the transport of waste, on one or more dates/batches during the term of the contract,

j) in the event of a change in the law or the Regulations for maintaining cleanliness and order in the city of Nowy Targ, the Contractor shall ensure the possibility of delivering and collecting waste in the manner provided for in the current regulations, including in bags of a different colour and the possibility of separating the delivered waste according to a different list of waste codes and/or division into fractions.
