The competition is for the delivery of an electronic patient records system (EPR). This means a complete system for the nursing and care sector in the municipalities and it shall ensure that daily operations function as optimally as possible.

The competition does not include an EPR for doctors surgeries/emergency doctor surgeries.

The contracting authority needs a new patient record system that will support the goal of:

— securing an operative, complete and efficient EPR system for the health and care sector,

— have an EPR system that provides good system support to the work processes and is in-line with the national guidelines and standards for EPR systems,

— comply with all minimum requirements for EPR systems in accordance with the standard for information security and a system that has built-in privacy that provides the municipality with good system support in the work with compliance of requirements in the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The finished EPR system must be in operation for Alver kommune [municipality] from 1.1.2020. EPR system for Vaksdal municipality must be migrated with all relevant data, and be fully operative as early as possible in 2020, and 1.4.2020 at the latest. The implementation and use be agreed with the new supplier.
