The target of the procurement is toys, games, recreational and sports equipment especially for schools and daycare centres, and competitive sports equipment for the use of the City of Lahti. The procurement is divided into three areas. A maximum of five contract suppliers are selected for each area.
Toys, games, recreational and sports equipment are mainly purchased for schools, day-care centres and city-maintained (fitness) sports facilities. Equipment needed for competitive sports is procured for sports fields and schools maintained by the city. Orders are placed as needed.

A maximum of 5 suppliers with the highest overall scores and meeting the suitability and qualification requirements shall be selected for each area. If there are not enough tenderers who meet the suitability requirements and have submitted admissible tenders, only those operators who meet the requirements and whose tender complies with the invitation to tender shall be included.
Toys and games are purchased annually to the value of approximately EUR 40,000–60,000. The estimate of the value of the contract is based on purchases made in previous years. The quantities and products purchased vary from year to year.
Sports and recreational equipment especially for schools and daycare centresVarious sports and enrichment equipment especially for schools and daycare centres.
A maximum of 5 suppliers with the highest overall scores and meeting the suitability and qualification requirements shall be selected for the framework agreement.
