Bergens Sjøfartsmuseum [Bergen Maritime Museum] plans to replace the ventilation system for the administration wing at Haakon Sheteligs plass 15. These works must be approved by byantikvaren [the Cultural Heritage Management Office] and this process is, as of 14.2.2020 in progress. The building is a brick building and has great historic and architectural value. This work includes i.a. other disciplines such as carpenters, painters, tinsmiths, bricklayers.
The contract form selected is General Contract and the contract formula will be NS8405. The works are planned to start in April 2020 and are anticipated to be completed during June 2020.
The competition is implemented as a limited tender competition, which involves only the supplier who are invited by the contracting authority to submit offers, and the contracting authority can hold dialogue with one or more suppliers, cf. PPR § 9-2 (2) and (3). The dialogue may include all parts of the offer and may i.a. include clarifications and negotiations.
The contracting authority plans to implement dialogue with one or more of the tenderers in the form of negotiations. Regardless, after the tenders have been received, the contracting authority can select to limit the dialogue to corrections and clarifications or award contracts without dialogue.
