Below is an excerpt from the Head Teacher's welcome message which explains more about the School and their objectives.
Our academic successes have been achieved because all members of our school community (students, staff, parents and Governors) care for each other. We are very proud of our students. They have a passion for learning and are truly welcoming and respectful. We are a genuinely comprehensive school and our students reflect our wonderfully diverse and vibrant community. We work hard to ensure that learning takes place in a culture of mutual respect. We expect nothing less than exemplary student behaviour and attitudes to learning at all times.
Our objectives for the future are simple. We seek to provide a learning environment where every student will meet or exceed their own expectations. The opening of the new school building on the Ealing Road site in 2017 will undoubtedly help us achieve this. Moreover, our key aim is to ensure that all our students achieve the best possible examination results, develop a passion for lifelong learning, and are equipped to excel in further studies, either academic or vocational, or the world of work. We are totally committed to equal opportunities and achievement for all. We believe that all students can succeed and exceed expectations through hard work and commitment.
We aspire to achieve these objectives by delivering high quality teaching and learning. We are committed to the development of student literacy. We also place great value on the personal development of the whole student so they are equipped with the skills, confidence, motivation and self-discipline to achieve in and beyond school. As a specialist school for Mathematics and Computing we aim to make digital technology accessible to students to enhance teaching and learning. We were delighted to be awarded a second specialism in 2014 in the Visual Arts which acknowledges the flair and creativity of our students.
The contract being offered commences on 28 March 2015 for a period of five years.
