The Police hires temporary staff through the Police Hiring Desk and aims to appeal to a diversity of providers, regardless of the organizational form. The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Service is part of the Police Service Center (PDC) and is the organization for the realization and continuity of ICT. The ICT Service focuses on the entire spectrum of ICT services. With approximately 1,600 employees, they support the entire Police in the field of ICT.

ICT ensures the availability of the Information Supply (IV) (24/7 where necessary) and user support. The service also develops new functionalities and is responsible for the further development and maintenance of the existing IV applications. The ICT Service covers five sectors: Program, Project and Interim Management, Development, ICT support, Monitoring Center Services and Delivery.
