This Tender is for the provision and delivery of specialist dietetic products.

The expectations of this Tender is for the Trusts to receive their products to The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust sites and a Home Delivery Service for patients (living within or outside Rotherham) registered with a Rotherham GP.

Rotherham has a population of 254 000 and 36 General Practices that are responsible for patient care. The contract will encompass a partnership arrangement between NHS Rotherham CCG and The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and will ‘prescribe' specialist dietetic products for patients under the care of a Rotherham GP.

Rotherham Nutrition and Dietetic Services (RNDS) of the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a Rotherham wide service spanning Primary and Secondary Care. The service is responsible for the prescribing budget for specialist dietetic products across Rotherham.

This is an opportunity to work in partnership with the RNDS of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust continuing to support their unique venture of providing a Rotherham wide service. This will include a Rotherham wide pricing structure for specialist dietetic products for patients in both community and acute settings.

The Contractor, working in partnership with Rotherham, will be at the forefront of innovative practice and constantly assessing improvements in service provision.

We will award a 3 year contract with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
