Nahverkehr Schwerin GmbH (NVS) operates local public transport with trams and buses in the state capital of Schwerin.

From 2020 to 2023, the replacement of passenger seats by Franz Kiel GmbH in 30 tram articulated multiple units of the type 2001 (Bombardier Flexity Classic) from the years 2001 to 2003 is planned.

The original seat fastenings in the vehicle can still be used. In addition to individual seats, these are essentially four-seaters (“head to head”) mounted on the wheel arches. The spaces between the seats must be completely closed. Furthermore, the upholstery and a seat for each vehicle have to be redesigned along the direction of travel according to specifications. The cover fabric is specified.

With the application for participation, the contractor must demonstrate how he can ensure the supply of spare parts for at least 20 years.

The special terms of contract and the detailed specification of services are part of the tender documents that are made available with the invitation to submit an offer.

Only the purchase (purchase) of the seats is intended.

Sample seats are to be produced from the bidders invited to tender. These samples are part of the offer evaluation.

The delivery must be made in several tranches between 2020 and 2023.
