Birkenes and Lillesand Municipalities intend to enter into two framework agreements, one for each municipality. The framework agreements will be for building materials, wood, tools, fixings, etc. The contracting authority will ensure that the contracting authority has simple, stable, and predictable access to the goods covered by the contract.

The contracting authority will not be obliged to use the framework agreements, and will be free to make individual procurements when the contracting authority finds it appropriate.
