The subject of the contract is structural planning services for the construction of a further secondary clarification tank and a system for wastewater filtration at the Neuss Süd sewage treatment plant.

InfraStruktur Neuss AöR (ISN) operates 2 large wastewater treatment plants in the Neuss city area, the Neuss Ost and Neuss Süd wastewater treatment plants, with sizes of approx. 300,000 PE or 122,000 PE. Due to increased regulatory requirements for the wastewater discharged into the Erft, the Neuss Süd sewage treatment plant needs to be expanded. Essentially, another, third secondary clarifier and a new wastewater filtration system as a cloth filter system are to be built. The work on the property planning and the various specialist planning of the technical equipment according to HOAI has started. The preliminary planning is largely complete, the draft planning is imminent.

The subject of the contract to be awarded are the following planning services: Structural planning according to the scope of services § 51 Paragraph 1 HOAI i. V. m. Annex 14 of the HOAI 2013 for the service phases 1-6.

In addition to the basic services, the following special services must be performed:

a) For the secondary clarifier:

- Engineering control of the execution of the structure for compliance with the tested static documents;

- Engineering control of the construction aids, e.g. work and teaching scaffolds, crane runways, construction pit safeguards.

b) For the filter system:

- Evidence of earthquake safety for the high-rise component of the filter system;

- Engineering control of the execution of the structure for compliance with the tested static documents;

- Engineering control of the construction aids, e.g. work and teaching scaffolds, crane runways, construction pit safeguards.
