The object of the procurement is a sex crime investigation kit (hereinafter referred to as the SERI kit) and it includes the components set out in Annex 1 "Requirements" to the invitation to tender, as well as other DNA and fiber sampling equipment used in technical forensic research and the delivery of the aforementioned to offices located nationwide. The object of the procurement also includes customer service.

During the contract period, the customer also has the opportunity to purchase the components listed in Appendix 1 to the invitation to tender. In addition, the customer has the opportunity to acquire other DNA and fibre sampling equipment used in criminal investigations to a small extent during the contract period.

The subject matter of the procurement is described in more detail in the invitation to tender and its annexes, in particular in Annex 1 "Requirements".

Scope of acquisition

An estimated 1,800 Seri packages are purchased per year.

The estimated value of the procurement (excluding VAT) during the contract period is EUR 800,000-1,100,000, including option periods. The exact scope of the procurement in euros is

difficult to determine, because due to the prevailing world situation, it is difficult to estimate the price development of the products to be procured during the contract period.

The figures are uncommitted estimates.
