The planned measure includes the construction of a new multifunctional house for youth and family in Kitzingen.
The tender covers the drywall works.
Under a common roof, a light pavilion-like spatial structure is depicted. Room cubes of different sizes, which contain the various uses, are washed by deliberately widened traffic routes to an atrium and covered outdoor areas.
The corridor zones thus become rooms with a high quality of stay, which can be freely played and used by the children and young people.
The new building volume accommodates the JungStil youth centre and the family centre, which can be reached from Jahnstraße via a jointly formed address. The children's and family area with directly connected covered outdoor area is housed in the southern building volume. To the north of the administrative zone is the youth center with a separate exercise room.
Above the floor slab, a modular solid wood construction, consisting of individual room cubes, is placed. The arrangement of the cubes one below the other and the targeted closure of the spaces in between with floor-to-ceiling glass elements give the two large functional areas (youth centre and family centre) their climatic closure.
The tender is for an acoustic ceiling made of lightweight wood wool panels, suspended from a wooden beam ceiling on a cross grate and laid with a herringbone pattern in the interior and exterior (1,454 m²), facing shells in wet areas (approx. 220 m²), assembly walls (approx. 110 m²), cantilevered suspended ceilings (approx. 126 m²), a decoupled "room in room construction" and fire protection cladding.
