At DEG, agile methods are used in change and run operations. The consultant should therefore be able to work independently in interdisciplinary Scrum teams and work through the tasks according to the prioritization by the responsible product owner. The Scrum teams at DEG consist of business analysts, data architects and BW/4HANA developers – the latter role is relevant for this call for proposals.
The intention is to conclude a one-year framework agreement with a three-time automatic extension option of one year each with a suitable market shareholder.

The tasks of the SAP BW/4HANA developers are:
• Development of new data content in the central data repository
• Expansion of the data integration layer DIS
• Preparation, execution, documentation and support of user testing.
• Support of existing applications (run operation); This includes the support of IT staff, DEG users and second-level support
The individual activities of the contractor to implement the aforementioned tasks include in particular:
• Connection of further data from source systems
• Transformation of data according to the business functional description
• Maintenance of the physical data model in the SAP PowerDesigner tool (mapping of business architecture to technical implementation)
• Analysis of system performance problems and, if necessary, associated "redesign of process chains"
• Assistance with developer and integration testing
• Support with documentation tasks
