Provision of a research and development service within the framework of the BAuA project F 2551 "Current findings on night and shift work: prevalence, well-being and recreation", which includes the following two service areas:
- Service area a) - mandatory component: Participation in the preparation of a systematic literature review or meta-analysis on the relationship between night and shift work and recreation (needs)
- Service area b) - optional component: Development of a software-based tool ("recovery traffic light") for the evaluation of different shift models under the supervision of the client
Service area a): The service includes participation in the preparation of a systematic literature review or a meta-analysis. Specifically, within 12 months, a systematic review of the state of knowledge and knowledge on the relationship between night and shift work and recreation (needs) is to be carried out in the form of a systematic literature review or a meta-analysis and the resulting need for research is to be derived.
Power range b): "Recreation light" (optional component)
Within 12 months, a tool ("recovery traffic light") must be developed and made available in consultation with the client and scientifically accompanied by the client (cf. work steps, milestones 1 - 7). Based on the findings of the systematic literature search (service area a)), this must enable an easy-to-understand and transparent evaluation of different shift models.
The aim is to make the developed software available as "open source". In addition, the long-term aim is to make it available via the client's website. Initially, however, the "recovery traffic light" is to be hosted and maintained by or via the contractor for a period of at least 3 years after development, whereby the corresponding webpage is linked from the BAuA website
