The subject of the invitation to tender is the provision and technical operation (procurement, provision, maintenance, etc.) of analytical equipment and consumables for the laboratory functional area of the clinics of the Darmstadt-Dieburg district (Groß-Umstadt District Hospital, Centre for Mental Health and Jugenheim District Hospital, Neurological Rehabilitation Clinic).

The contractor shall provide the technical operation of laboratory analysis, in particular the procurement, provision and maintenance of analytical machines, if necessary, as well as the supply of consumer goods (consumables, reagents, etc.). The contractor must ensure a problem-free integration of findings into the HIS system Nexus. The laboratory information system and the necessary hardware shall be provided by the contractor. In the laboratory of the Kreisklinik Groß-Umstadt, the laboratory EDP software OSM is used. The contractor must ensure that the analysis devices are connected to the laboratory EDP (online). Examination requirements will thus continue to be made via OSM, the internal laboratory information system.

In addition, the contractor shall provide the management of the clinic laboratory of the district hospitals Darmstadt-Dieburg, which also contains suggestions for the optimization of the laboratory operation on the part of the contractor, which are to be implemented in coordination with the client. In particular, the focus is on increasing quality, reducing operating costs, eliminating investments for the client and exploiting economic and organizational synergy effects.

The client awards the services in a Europe-wide negotiated procedure with a preliminary participation competition.
