Sprinkenhof GmbH intends to renew the scenic lighting system for the building stock of the Hamburg State Opera and to renew parts of the spotlight stock of the scenic lighting.

The existing scenic lighting system on the main stage of the Hamburg State Opera is outdated and does not meet industry standards compared to other national or international opera houses. The scenic lighting systems have already been renewed in a first construction phase during the 2022 summer break. Due to the insolvency of the commissioned executing company, the other services have to be put out to tender again.

Now, in further construction phases from 2024 to 2026, the other existing scenic lighting systems are to be renewed. The existing cables are to continue to be used and only supplemented by the necessary rewiring of additional circuits and network cables.

The aim is to create a lighting system that meets the latest technical standards in network technology, security technology, flexibility in the implementation of artistic requirements, occupational safety and work facilitation. In order to increase occupational safety, the circuits must be equipped with combined line protection/fault current switches (RCBOs) in the future. Dimmer modules are to be used as plug-in modules with individual dimmer circuits. Modern energy-saving LED lights are to be used for the headlights, which offer a wider range of applications and more flexibility thanks to better equipment and functions.

The subject of this tender is the installation of the new scenic lighting system with dimmer system, as well as dismantling of existing systems and cable research and cable labeling of existing cables.

Essentially, the following plant components are to be installed, delivered and the training of the employees

of the Hamburg State Opera:

2024:

- Renewal of dimmer room with dimmer systems with approx. 280 circuits, main distribution

- Stage lighting, sub-distribution, switchable circuits

- Installation of the on-site network cabinet in the dimmer room

- Renewal of offset panels stage (stage front, stage center, stage rear)

- Renewal of steel construction skylight frames 1-4 with maintenance baskets made of aluminum

- Renewal of flat stage cables 1-5

- Installation of offset channels in the skylights

- Built-in work light in the skylights

- Delivery of 18 pieces of LED horizon lighting ramps

- Delivery of 20 LED profile headlights

2025:

- Renewal of offset junction boxes: portal bridge, 1st gallery, Nullgasse

- Towers, offset flaps, stage, orchestra pit

- Installation of the new mains distribution for general electricity

- Installation of programmable logic controller

2026:

- Delivery of the remaining headlights

- Supply of headlight accessories

- Renewal of platform flat lines portal bridge

- Renewal of steel construction skylight frame 5

- Renewal of movable cable feed, horizon lighting bridge

- Renewal of the remaining offset connections

The 2026 services can also be provided as early as 2025, but may not be invoiced until after November 17, 2025.
