The Dradenau heat pumps project aims to generate useful heat from the Dradenau wastewater treatment plant outflow for feeding into Hamburg's district heating network. The required temperature increase should be achieved by means of large heat pumps.

For this purpose, a 110 kV grid feed-in with a transformer with an output of 31.5 MVA must be supplied, installed ready for operation and put into operation.
