"Implementation of protection activities specified in PZO for Myszyniecki Bory Sasankowe PLH140049 and Bory Chrobotkowe Karaska PLH140047 as part of the project entitled: "Comprehensive project for the protection of species and natural habitats in areas managed by PGL Lasy Państwowe" in the area of the Myszyniec Forest District in 2023".
The subject of the contract is the implementation of protective measures established:
1) Ordinance of the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Warsaw of 15 April 2015 on the establishment of a plan of protection tasks for the Natura 2000 Bory Chrobotkowe Karaska PLH140047 for the natural habitat Sosnowy bór chrobotkowy 91T0,
2) Ordinance No. 31 of the Regional Director for Environmental Protection in Warsaw of 30 December 2013 on the establishment of a plan of protection tasks for the Natura 2000 site Myszynieckie Bory Sasankowe PLH140049 for open sasanka (Pulsatilla patens) 1477
in the area of the Myszyniec Forest District in 2023.
The scope of the kind is specified in the SWZ.
The type and quantity of services are specified in detail in the SWZ.
1) Conservation measures aimed at creating convenient conditions for the development of rue, appropriate for the natural habitat 91T0 pine bore, by counteracting the enrichment of the soil substrate with nutrients contained in dead wood formed after the procedures Care of the stand and as a result of the action of natural processes.
The scope of work will include:
- cleaning of wood residues formed after stand care procedures (late positive thitter - TPP, early positive thinning - TWP), i.e. parts after removed trees, remaining on the surface of cuts, which, for quality reasons, cannot be assigned to wood utility or its acquisition is economically unjustified (the need for the use of technology ensuring protection of the fleece layer), it is referred to here about crepes, bounds, branches;
- removal of dead wood separated as a result of natural natural processes, in the range of: dead standing trees having no usable value, loungers, bushes and branches accumulated as a result of natural factors;
- export and disposal of biomass obtained as a result of the implementation of conservation activities.
Protective measures must not lead to the destruction of lichen present on the surface. In the implementation of measures, it is permissible to use mechanical equipment adapted to overshot skidding, preventing the destruction of the habitat surface. Movement of mechanical equipment in the patch of the habitat should take place on local roads, surface dividing lines, skidding routes, indicated on the ground by the forester.
2) Conservation measures are aimed at creating favourable habitat conditions for the object of protection of open sasanka (Pulsatilla patens) 1477, by limiting the development of competitive vegetation.
How to implement the protective action:
Competitive species, i.e. reed, blackberry, bent daredevil, blueberry, common heather should be removed by pulling them out, digging up, mowing. The procedure should be performed manually using auxiliary tools such as hoes, spades or mechanical devices such as a petrol scythe. The method of treatment should be adapted individually to the habitat conditions prevailing at the site. The indicated activities should be carried out under the supervision of a competent forester or substantive employee for nature conservation.
The biomass resulting from the implementation of the conservation measure should be cleaned up and spread outside the area of implementation of the action, deep into the tree stand, at a distance of at least 10 m from the place of occurrence of the object of protection.
