The services of the contractor (contractor) include the specialist planning of structural engineering in accordance with Part 4 Sec. 1 HOAI. LPH 2-8 must be completed (due to own contributions in some areas also omission of basic or partial services of basic services). In addition to basic services, special services must be provided:

- Familiarization with the project, taking into account the existing static explorations or findings from the LPH_1

- Checking existing structural documents for correctness and coordination/adaptation to the optimized bases

- Processing taking into account that the coordinating FBT object planning building has to comply with the target agreement silver standard (without certification) according to the Guidelines for Sustainable Building

- Advice on the economic feasibility study (WU) of the FBT object planning building for interim accommodation

- Proof of seismic protection.

- Proof of constructive fire protection

- Evidence of constructions that do not belong to the supporting structure (e.g. facades)

- Checking/evaluating ancillary offers

- Engineering control for compliance with test statics

- Participation in the supervision of the execution of structural interventions in the existing building

Initially, only services for the construction of the HU-Bau (LPH 2- 4) will be commissioned. It is intended to commission the further services in stages after approval of the document (step-by-step contract). There is no legal entitlement to the transfer of the other benefits as well as the special benefits.

The Germersheim District Court is located in the city center of Germersheim, in the immediate vicinity of the Queich (2nd order waters). The courtrooms are currently located in two now connected historical parts of the building, which were built in the years 1853-1865. They were originally used as a magistrate's court and prison. The two parts of the building were built of sandstone masonry with wooden beam ceilings, they have only partial basements. Due to the original use, the floor heights differ, so that there are differences in height between the individual levels of the two parts of the building.

In order to be able to guarantee service operations in the future, extensive measures are necessary, such as continuous barrier-free access by creating a new entrance including a gate, the addition of a staircase with elevator, general upgrading of fire protection and the improvement of the statics of the wooden beam ceilings.
At the same time, the building services equipment must also be upgraded or replaced, such as heat generation systems, electrical and IT cabling and sanitary facilities.
The construction of a photovoltaic system on an existing roof surface as well as the requirements for electromobility in public/other buildings must be implemented.
Energy optimisation and the requirements of sustainable construction, taking into account economic efficiency, must be implemented.
The processing must be carried out according to the Sustainable Building Assessment System (BNB) with the achievement of the silver standard (uncertified).

Since the size of the property allows only very few alternative options on its own property, an interim solution is necessary as the basis for the Freizug Amtsgericht. This is examined by the architect as part of an economic feasibility study, for which support in static matters is necessary. Info: The decision on the interim solution has no effect on the commissioned services on the main building (existing building and new coupling building).
