With the local contract, the client intends to award the future management and maintenance of medical technology in the two locations Aichach and Friedberg as a full-service service with the local contract. The core area is the maintenance of medical technology systems and equipment (especially tests, repairs, maintenance, inspections) including transparent documentation of service activities and regular reporting to the client. In this context, the need for consulting and training related to medical technology should also be covered by the service provider.

As a result of this award procedure, the services for the client's medical technology systems and equipment are to be bundled in an economically and structurally sensible manner.

For this purpose, all technical and logistical services required for the proper and safe operation of the customer's medical devices and systems shall be provided or responsibly organized by the contractor.

The expertise and services of the contractor are intended to ensure high availability of medical technology systems and equipment and to sustainably reduce the costs for the maintenance of medical technology. Maintenance is intended to maintain or restore the operational condition of the devices and systems as they were at the time of initial commissioning, including retrofits and upgrades that have already been carried out (target state). Through complementary training and consulting services, the contractor shall support the client, among other things, in the procurement of medical devices and systems.

The required services must meet the increased requirements for operational safety in the use of medical devices, patient safety and the high quality requirements of the client. The contractor shall enable the improved use of the medical systems and equipment over their entire service life for the benefit of the operator, for the safety of the users and for the benefit of the patients.

Essential elements of the service provision "Management of medical technology" are:

a. Medical technology operations and management, in particular

• Position of an object manager and, if necessary, a deputy

• Ensuring the technical and economic operation and legal operational safety of medical devices, systems and equipment

• Service administration and technical documentation using modern IT tools

• Reporting, in particular annual profitability report, quarterly reporting

b. Maintenance and testing services, in particular:

• Inspections and testing tasks, in particular STK, MTK, DGUV V3

•Maintenance

• Maintenance (repair)

c. Other and consulting services (partly as required), in particular

•Consulting

• Organization, management and documentation of training courses, especially for users or instruction in medical technology systems and equipment

• Re-investment recommendations for medical technology systems and equipment based on analyses, technical progress or legal changes
