Scientific advisory — technical on the implementation of the T-1 road tunnel and securing landslides as part of the task: “Design and construction of the S19 expressway on the section from Rzeszów Południe interchange (without interchange) to Babica junction (with interchange) of approximately 10.3 km”

The service includes scientific and technical consultancy also called scientific supervision during the design and implementation of works in the field of T-1 tunnel and landslides in the S19 section from Rzeszów Południe junction (without node) to Babica junction (with node).

Scientific and technical advice on the implementation of the T-1 road tunnel and the protection of landslides in the framework of the task “Design and construction of the S19 expressway on the section from Rzeszów Południe (without interchange) to Babica (with interchange) of approximately 10.3 km”. The service includes scientific and technical consultancy also called scientific supervision during the design and implementation of works in the field of T-1 tunnel and landslides in the S19 section from Rzeszów South (without node) to Babica (with node), in particular:

1. verification of design solutions developed by the Contractor in terms of both construction project, implementation projects and T-1 road tunnel drill stage solutions in terms of their legitimacy and admissibility, taking into account legal and contractual formal requirements and the best technical knowledge currently available (culminating in the release of the scientific supervision post); the verification provides for:

a. Verification of assumptions for calculations and calculations made by the Contractor of works in the field of tunnel construction;

b. Verification of the stability analysis of the T-1 tunnel portals developed by the Contractor of Works and its stabilization project;

c. assessment of the works designed by the Contractor of the works of fire protection solutions of the tunnel structure;

d. Assessment of the correctness of proposed solutions of pavement structures in the tunnel as regards its durability;

e. advice on issues related to the accepted method of drilling and construction of the tunnel housing in the aspect of the need to carry out works also on the basis of geological and mining law, including the assessment of the need to draw up a plan for the movement of the plant;

f. assessment of the impact of the construction solutions and performance technologies adopted on the durability and maintenance costs of the road tunnel;

g. Assessment of the impact of accepted construction solutions and performance technologies on surrounding land use and water relations within the impact of works;

2. verification of the assumptions for calculations and calculations performed by the Contractor of works in the field of landslide protection projects (culminating in the issuance of the scientific supervision post);

3. verification of project solutions developed by the Contractor at the stage of tunnel safety documentation in terms of tunnel equipment - in terms of their legitimacy and admissibility, taking into account legal and contractual formal requirements and the best knowledge currently available technical (culminating in the issuance of a scientific supervision post);

4. verification of the construction project solutions developed by the Contractor at the stage of the construction project, implementation projects in the field of ventilation in the tunnel (culminating in the issuance of the scientific supervision post);

5. verification of the construction project solutions adopted by the Contractor at the stage of the construction project, implementing projects on issues related to the fire protection of the tunnel (culminating in the issuance of the scientific supervision post);

6. verification and analysis of the parameters of the work of the TBM shield during the drill (completed by the release of the scientific surveillance post);

7. Assessment of problems arising at the stage of design and implementation of the T-1 road tunnel, and of securing landslides resulting from claims by the Contractor of Works, proposals for alteration or alteration commands issued, failure on the construction site with a proposal for their solution/indication of solutions permitting taking rational decisions by the Consultant and the Contracting Authority; (culminating in the issuance of expert opinion);

8. Participation in the framework of the Stay on the contract of the Chief Scientific Supervision Expert for the Tunnel or the members of the Scientific Expert Team relevant to the topics discussed in the working meetings, Construction Councils, Technical Councils, ZOPI meeting. Meetings may be held at the design and implementation stage in the Engineer's Office, Contractor's Office, Construction Square, at the GDDKiA Branch headquarters in Rzeszów or at the offices of the administrative authorities responsible for the implementation of investments or in the form of videoconferencing.
