Conclusion of a transport contract for the provision of regional rail transport services on KBS 562 (Rottenbach - Katzhütte)

Regional rail transport services are to be provided under the following requirements:

- KBS 562 Schwarzatalbahn (Rottenbach – Katzhütte)

- Hourly intervals (based on the status quo timetable)

- Scope of services of approx. 275,000 train km per year

- Duration: 09.12.2023 until timetable change December 2028, with possibility of extension until timetable change December 2031

- Used vehicles are registered

- For the award project, the use of alternative fuel, biodiesel, synthetic fuel or similar must be offered as an optional service in addition to the drive technology chosen by the RU for the vehicles.

- Requirements of the Thuringian Public Procurement Act

- Obligation to take over personnel in the event of a change of operator in accordance with § 131 paragraph 3 GWB
