Building project:

For the Helmholtz Center Potsdam, German Research Center for Geosciences, a new laboratory building with offices and server room is planned on the listed Telegrafenberg, southeast of Potsdam city center. The gross floor area is approx. 3 850 m 2 , The new building is to be built west of the existing BG building complex in the edge area of the science park. The construction site is located in a partially forested area with increased relief energy. Traffic areas of the internal access and road network border to the north and east. This is, on the one hand, an access to an underground car park in building BG and, on the other hand, a subordinate footpath. The new building should take into account the ensemble protection of the historical existing buildings in the landscaped grounds of the Telegrafenberg. It is a free-standing 5-storey building with a basement.

"VE304 hazard detection and alarm system":

The contracting unit includes services for setting up a fire alarm system for the entire building. An intruder alarm system must also be installed for certain rooms.

For the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems and access control systems, cable pulling work and connection work for the components provided must be carried out.

The following services are to be provided as part of the advertised measure:

Construction of a fire alarm system in the entire building (BMA):

- establishment of a fire alarm center;

- Erection / assembly of fire alarm components;

- approx. 220 automatic and non-automatic detectors;

- approx. 10 ventilation duct detectors;

- Linear heat differential detector (approx. 50 m);

- 3 multi-point smoke detectors as aspirating smoke detectors;

- approx. 20 optical signal transmitters;

- approx. 5,000 m fire alarm cable;

- approx. 350 m cable with functional integrity.

Intrusion alarm system for partial areas (EMA):

- Installation of a burglar alarm center using BUS technology;

- Erection / assembly of components for the intrusion alarm system;

- approx. 20 IR detectors / area detectors / contacts;

- approx. 3 operating and display devices;

- Connection to access control system;

- approx. 400 m installation cable.

Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems:

- Installation of provided control, operating and triggering devices;

- 3 control centers;

- approx. 30 operating and triggering devices;

- Connection to on-site access control system;

- approx. 250 m installation cable.

Access control system (ZKA):

- Cable laying for access control systems;

- approx. 1,000 m installation cable.
