The civil engineering measures serve as preparation for the subsequent refurbishment of the existing buildings and the construction of the extension of the mining museum Oelsnitz / Erzgebirge.

These measures include construction pit construction, construction pit containment, drainage and deep foundation of the new building.

Deep foundations include the production of tube injection piles according to the static data in different bottom heights. The individual lengths of the pipe injection piles are between 5 m and 11 m, resulting in a total length of approx. 650 m.
