The RDW has a number of locations throughout the Netherlands in use. The RDW recognizes two different location types, namely:
- A main location ("location type A"): the RDW has three main locations, namely in Zoetermeer, Veendam and Groningen;
- Another location ("location type B"): the RDW recognizes a number of inspection stations, one test center and one regional office.
These different locations must be connected to the RDW infrastructure so that systems from the RDW data centers can be made available at these locations. In addition, other types of traffic flows are recognized such as access to cloud services, direct access to the Internet, etc.
Within this tender, RDW is looking for a broker or provider to supply connections to rdw's various locations in the Netherlands. The RDW wishes to be able to purchase various services for these physical connections.
The RDW will fill in the current recognized need itself with the SD-WAN concept.
