Therefore, timely completion of work on propellers is very important and will be high on the Authority's list of criteria for company selection. It is envisaged that the contract will commence in Dec 2012, it will be reviewed periodically, and will last for 4 years. The propellers will be fed in as required by the Authority. All propellers fed in for repair will need to be returned to BBMF RAF Coningsby no later than mid-February of the following year. In addition, there may be a requirement to carry out ad-hoc on-site repairs.

The Authority would welcome any innovative bids, in support of this requirement. Any such innovative proposals that depart from the stated technical and/or contractual requirements should be submitted in addition to, and not as a substitute for, the requirements stated in the Authority's tender documents. Companies wishing to express their interest in this requirement must have experience in undertaking all aspects of Supply, Repair and Reconditioning for these or similar propellers, and should hold current ISO 9001:2000 certification, or recognised equivalent, such as CAA approval.
