The municipality of Argenbühl intends to rebuild a gymnasium and festival hall as a one-and-a-half-fold hall south of the previous location within the urban development area “Rummel”.
In addition to the use of the hall for the Eisenharz gymnastics club with a focus on gymnastics, the new gym and festival hall in the sports sector will be able to be used by the daycare center, primary school and other clubs. In the cultural sector, the hall will be able to be used by various associations for concert and dance events, lectures and occasionally for larger events by the community and private individuals.

The object of the competition is services according to HOAI for the design of a new gymnasium and festival hall in Eisenharz, Argenbühl.

Interdisciplinary applicants or interdisciplinary applicant communities who meet the professional requirements are eligible to participate: architect and landscape architect. Consultation with structural engineers is recommended.

The competition is offered as a one-stage, non-open realization competition with an upstream selection process with 25 participants. The host selects 5 participants in advance. The process is anonymous.

Landscape architects do not have to provide any references.

The aim of this implementation competition is to obtain a high-quality, economical and sustainable building for this location that responds appropriately and in high quality to the respective urban planning, functional and economic requirements. In doing so, the general conditions specified in the award must be taken into account.
