Ultrasonic devices (5 pcs) for different units in the wellbeing services county of South Ostrobothnia

1. Joint ultrasound device, incl. PKL

Purpose: For examination of joints and surface structures by a rheumatologist. Examination of joints, muscles, blood vessels and glands. The deepest targets in rheumatology are the hip joints <10cm and the most superficial 1-10cm small joints, temporal arteries and salivary glands.

2. Cardiac ultrasound device, incl. PKL

Purpose: Examination of adult cardiac patients in a cardiology clinic in specialised medical care. The device must be suitable for outpatient use in traditional reception room work.

3. Prostate ultrasound device, urology pkl

Purpose: For examination of the prostate. Prostate and pelvic floor imaging and taking tissue samples from the prostate.

4. Ultraäänilaite, Dialyysi

Purpose: Ultrasound device for dialysis, vessel detection and injection of dialysis needles. The device is used to initiate treatment of haemodialysis patients with vascular problems. In the majority of patients, the fistula is currently performed in the bend of the elbow, so there is less area to inject and the scales are deeper in the arm.

Purpose: The ultrasound device is used in heart, lung and vein examinations. Examine the patient's fluid load, the condition of the abdominal organs, the filling pressure of the jugular veins, the condition of the blood vessels and the function of the fistula, as well as the state of the heart to assess the fluid load
