Contract for the operation of a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), to be let by Ceredigion County Council.

This Contract Notice advertises a contract to collect recyclable materials from three transfer stations in Ceredigion, transporting to a materials recovery facility for sorting, separation, bulking and recycling or sending to reprocessors.

It is envisaged that this will be a medium-term contract for the operation of the materials recovery facility which will handle and treat recycling materials. The operation will include, but not be limited to, collecting, transporting, handling, sorting, bulking into containers, transportation to destinations and final disposal of the residual element.

The estimated tonnage to be handled on behalf of Ceredigion County Council is around 6 000 tonnes per annum.
