The Schlitz outdoor swimming pool will be completely modernized as part of a comprehensive renovation and the technical facilities will be renovated in accordance with the latest technologies and the recognized rules of technology.
The renovation of the outdoor pool will take place in three construction phases. In the first construction phase, which has already taken place, the swimming pool was renovated. The stainless steel lining and the pool connections were newly manufactured.
In the second construction phase, the pool systems for jumpers, non-swimmers and children's paddling pools will be manufactured in stainless steel.
The processing plants for swimmers, jumpers, non-swimmers and children's pools will be rebuilt in the second construction phase. The raw water storage tanks and pump technology for the circulation system and attractions as well as the filters of system 2 will be installed in a newly built underground pump room. The filter systems for the swimmers' and diving pools will be installed in the existing filter technology.

The resulting rinsing wastewater is treated via a rinsing wastewater treatment system type III and discharged into the Vorfluter Schlitz.
