The European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility GmbH is building the European X-ray laser XFEL on the company premises (BG) Bahrenfeld, Osdorfer Born and Schenefeld. A new XHO office building with approx. 200 workplaces is to be built on the company premises in Schenefeld. The building is 3-storey + basement and has external dimensions of approx. L x W x H of 62.0 x 14.5 x 15.5 m. The shell is mainly a reinforced concrete structure.

The subject of the call for proposals is the facade and window construction work for the XFEL XHO office building project:

- approx. 1400 m² ventilated and insulated façade made of HPL panels, riveted

- Approx. 7 m² smooth sheet façade

- 65 pieces multi-part window elements

- 6 exterior door elements

- Approx. 140m² mullion/transom façade elements with inserts indoors and outdoors

- Approx. 580m² temporary film protection

- 242 pcs Blinds

- 88 motors for blinds
